Old West Sheriff Dozing in Chair

A frontier lawman tipped back in a slat-back wooden chair, fast asleep with his chin dropped and a wide-brimmed felt hat pushed forward over his brow. One arm hangs loose over the chair back and the other rests across his lap holding a long gun by the barrel.

He wears a long canvas duster over a waistcoat with a six-point star badge, a knotted neckerchief, worn denim trousers and stovepipe boots, with a gunbelt and holster at the hip. The base is a small oval of cracked, dusty boardwalk ground.

A characterful filler for the porch of a jailhouse, a saloon front or a stage depot on an Old West town layout or a frontier skirmish table.
