An 1880s frontier lawman sighting down a single-action revolver, arms extended and head tilted behind the sights. He wears a long, weather-beaten coat over a buttoned waistcoat and collarless shirt, a neckerchief knotted at the throat, hard-wearing trousers and tall pull-on boots.

A cartridge belt rides on his hip with loops filled and a holster hanging low on the thigh, so the drawn revolver reads as belonging to the rig. He stands on a small round pad of sandy ground scattered with stones.

A natural centrepiece for a rural Old West scene: a street stand-off outside a saloon, a posse closing on a hideout, or a depot hold-up on a frontier layout. He also works as a skirmish leader for a period wargaming warband.
