A city patrolman of the Prohibition era striding forward with one gloved hand thrown out, as if ordering a crowd back or pointing out a runner. The face is set hard under a heavy moustache.

He wears the classic period uniform: a peaked cap with a badge plate, a double-breasted tunic with a standing collar and two rows of buttons, a shield pinned at the chest, a leather cross-strap over the shoulder, and a Sam Browne belt carrying a holstered revolver and a baton ring.

Drop him onto a 1920s or 1930s city street diorama, outside a bank or speakeasy front, or beside a period sedan on an interwar layout to give the scene an immediate sense of trouble.
