An early twentieth century mounted police officer in a dark high-collared tunic with a stiff peaked cap and badge, a leather cross strap over the shoulder, and a belt carrying a baton and pouches. Riding breeches tuck into tall boots and the legs are set apart in a rider's seat.
The figure is sculpted to sit astride a horse, so it suits a mounted patrol, a parade escort or a crowd-control line; a mount is not part of the piece.
Fits a 1920s city street, a park path or a station approach on a period layout, and works as a police escort in an interwar diorama.
