A country lawman down on one knee, both hands wrapped around a long-barrelled revolver held out at arm's length. His shoulders are squared and his head is tucked low behind the sights.

He wears a period rural uniform: an open-collar shirt with a necktie, a star badge on the chest, a broad campaign hat with a badge on the crown, breeches tucked into laced boots, a leather Sam Browne strap and a belted holster rig.

Set him behind a stalled car on a dirt road, at a farmhouse stakeout, or covering a bank front on a Prohibition-era street scene. He also suits a rural pursuit vignette on a 1920s or 1930s layout.
