A mid-century city policeman walking his beat: peaked service cap with a badge, a double-breasted tunic with a cross-strap over the chest, a wide duty belt with holster and baton ring, and creased uniform trousers over polished shoes.

He strides forward with one hand raised to point ahead while a wooden nightstick hangs from the other, giving a clear directing-traffic or moving-along silhouette. Tunic buttons, pocket flaps and the belt rig are all cut in for easy detail painting.
