A heavy-set small-town deputy asleep in a plain wooden ladder-back chair, head tipped back under a wide-brimmed hat, hands folded across the belly and legs stretched out with ankles crossed. He wears a light uniform shirt with chest pockets, a tie, a six-point star badge, matching trousers and polished black shoes.
The duty belt is fully modelled with a buckle, a flap holster and a cuff case, and the chair is a separate piece of furniture with turned legs and a slatted back, all sitting on a round wooden display base. Slumped shoulders and the sagging collar sell the pose immediately.
