A mid-century highway patrolman walking his beat in a black leather jacket, breeches and tall brown lace-up boots. He wears a broad-brimmed campaign hat, a gold shield on the chest and a Sam Browne belt with a holstered revolver, cartridge loops and a cuff case.
The jacket has a sculpted zip front, epaulettes and shoulder patch, and the gloved left hand hangs relaxed at his side. The mid-stride pose gives him a natural walking line rather than a stiff parade stance.
He fits a 1950s rural roadside scene, a small-town main street, a level crossing or a highway checkpoint on a period layout. He also pairs well with a period patrol car and a pulled-over civilian vehicle.
