A city police officer braced with his feet planted wide, left arm thrust straight out palm-open to hold someone back while his right hand drops to the baton on his belt.
He is in classic 1980s municipal uniform: a peaked service cap, a short-sleeved shirt with a shield badge, name bar and shoulder patch, a leather duty belt with holster, cuff case and a wooden nightstick in its ring, straight-leg trousers and polished shoes.
The commanding stance makes him useful for a street arrest, a crowd-control line, a cordon around an accident, or a protest scene in a modern city diorama or urban layout.
