A city patrolman in 1980s uniform: short-sleeved shirt with shoulder patch, chest badge, name plate and clip-on tie tab, tucked into straight-leg uniform trousers over plain black service shoes. The eight-point service cap sits squarely on his head.
A full leather duty belt carries holster, cuff case, radio and pouches. He has a wooden baton raised in his right hand and his left fist clenched at his side, holding a firm, commanding stance rather than a running pose.
Set him on a corner beat, at a crowd line, outside a precinct house or beside a patrol car in a 1980s city street diorama. He works equally well policing a station forecourt on a modern-era layout or as a law-enforcement model on a contemporary skirmish table.
