A uniformed municipal police officer walking a beat, mid-stride with one hand tucked at the small of the back and the head turned to scan the street. He wears a peaked service cap with a metal badge, a long-sleeved uniform shirt with epaulettes, a chest shield, name bar and a shoulder patch on the sleeve.
The duty belt is fully rigged: an open-top holster, a cuff case, a radio pouch, keepers and a buckle, all sculpted as separate items rather than surface lines. Straight-leg uniform trousers break over plain black shoes. The relaxed walking pose makes him easy to place on any pavement. Supplied on a plain round base.
Suited to a late-twentieth-century city scene: a downtown sidewalk, a subway or bus terminal, a crime-scene cordon or a parade route. On a layout he adds authority and life to a station concourse or a street corner, and he pairs with period patrol cars and pedestrians.
