A city police officer standing easy with one hand raised to the peak of his cap in a friendly greeting, the other arm relaxed at his side. He wears a short-sleeve uniform shirt with buttoned chest pockets, a shoulder badge and a chest shield, tucked into pressed uniform trousers with a leg stripe.
The rig is straight out of the 1980s beat cop kit: a peaked service cap with a badge, a shoulder radio strap running down to the belt, and a loaded duty belt with holster, cuff case and pouches, finished with polished shoes.
A warm bit of street character for an 1980s city block, a precinct front, a parade route or a neighbourhood corner. Works well beside a patrol car, a hot dog cart or a shopfront on a period urban layout.
