A rural state trooper with one arm extended straight out, baton held level to signal a driver to stop, the other hand clenched at his hip. Head and shoulders are turned along the line of the arm, so the figure clearly reads as giving an order to someone off to the side.
He wears a stiff-brimmed campaign hat, a dark long-sleeved uniform shirt with a star badge, name bar and shoulder patch, dark trousers and polished boots, with a heavy leather duty belt carrying pouches, a holstered sidearm and cuffs.
Use him at a roadblock or checkpoint, waving traffic past an accident, or working a highway scene beside a cruiser on a late twentieth century rural layout or diorama.
