Decorated Parade Convertible

A full-size mid-century convertible dressed up for a procession: a bright magenta body with the top down, tail fins, a wide chrome-style grille and bumper, and dished steel wheels. Twisted green-and-yellow crepe streamers run along the bonnet, doors and windscreen frame.

Wreaths hang on the front bumper and rear quarter, cut-out stars are fixed to the flanks and bonnet, a bunched garland fills the rear deck, and a cluster of balloons is tied at the back corner.

Made for a small-town parade diorama, a homecoming or festival scene on a layout, or a mid-century Main Street display that needs a rolling centrepiece.
