A court jester caught mid-caper, balanced on one leg with the other kicked high and one arm flung out for balance. In his other hand he holds a gilded fool's sceptre carved with a grinning head and fleur-de-lis crest.

He wears a three-pointed belled cap, a motley doublet in wine red, green and blue with tiny bells hung from every point of the dagged hem and sleeves, parti-coloured hose and long curled-toe shoes.

Supplied on a round cobbled base, he is a ready-made piece of colour for a renaissance banquet hall, a village fair, a travelling players' wagon scene, or a fantasy tavern crowd.
