Renaissance Falconer with Hooded Hawk

A bearded falconer standing at ease with a hooded hawk perched on his heavily gauntleted left hand, tasselled jesses hanging from its legs. The bird is modelled with layered barred plumage and a plumed hood.

He wears a period costume of a red and teal doublet with slashed sleeves under a fitted leather jerkin, a knotted waist sash, full ochre breeches gathered at the knee and tall turned-down boots. His right hand holds a coiled leather lure line.

Made for a Renaissance or late medieval setting: a castle courtyard, a noble hunting party, a market fair or a manor gate. Also serves well as a ranger or beast-handler character in a fantasy campaign.
