A well-dressed gentleman of the late sixteenth century standing with one hand on his hip and the other resting near the hilt of a slim sword. He wears a wide-brimmed blue hat with a tall feather, a small pleated ruff at the throat, and a red doublet with gold braid, buttoned front and slashed, padded upper sleeves.

Below the doublet are full blue trunk hose, pale stockings and low buckled shoes, with lace cuffs at the wrists. The figure stands on a round base laid with cobbles and grass tufts.
