Subject: A seated adult saxophonist posed mid-performance on a simple folding stool. The sculpt shows a man wearing a rounded brim bowler-style hat, a buttoned coat with a strap for the saxophone across his chest, creased trousers and detailed shoes. The saxophone is a full-length instrument with a crook neck and bell; keywork and finger placement are sculpted with attention to readable detail. Hands cradle the instrument with visible fingernails and tendons; facial features include a short beard and closed eyes indicating concentration. The stool is deliberately minimal to keep the silhouette compact and to allow easy placement in layouts.

What you get: This listing is prepared as a single 1:87 (HO) master STL intended as the scale master for hobby printing. The package includes the master file at 1:87 and a short conversion guide describing the scale ratio and how to uniformly scale the master file for other common hobby scales. The master is sized so a printed figure at 1:87 sits naturally with HO rolling stock and street scenes.

Sculpt notes and visible features: The sculpt emphasizes cloth folds across the coat and trousers, button and strap hardware, defined shoelaces and realistic hand poses gripping the saxophone. The saxophone features a curved neck, prominent bell, and a readable layout of keys and rods; small connecting rings and straps are modelled where the instrument meets the strap. The seated posture is slightly forward-leaning and compact, minimizing unsupported cantilevered geometry and helping printability. The stool has thin legs and a small seat—these are visible and will require typical print supports or slight reinforcement depending on chosen orientation and printer settings.

Intended uses: Designed for diorama scenes, HO model-railroad layouts, theatrical display dioramas and tabletop displays that need a realistic musician figure. The neutral pose and compact footprint make the figure easy to integrate into street corners, club interiors, train station vignettes or simply as a standalone display piece.

Printability notes: The saxophone contains delicate rods and overhangs around the keys and the crook neck; supports are recommended beneath the instrument when printing in typical orientations. Fingers and thin strap details are sculpted at a level intended to read at 1:87; if you require stronger thin elements, slight mesh thickening or printing at a slightly larger scale are common adjustments. The stool legs are slender; consider orienting the figure so the stool supplies a stable print base or add temporary supports that can be removed in post-processing. Hollowing and escape-hole decisions are left to the printer—this file is supplied as a solid-scale master and may be modified by advanced users.

Licensing and provenance: The sculpt is presented as a generic, unbranded musician figure intended for hobby and display use. No real-world performer or copyrighted likeness is claimed. If you need adjustments to scale, posture or base attachment points, contact the store for custom work.

Conversion blurb: A single 1:87 (HO) master file is included. To print at other scales, apply a uniform scale factor equal to desired_ratio/87 (for example, for 1:72 multiply by 87/72 ~ 1.208). Keep proportions uniform to preserve joint and hand spacing.

Notes for operators: This master was produced from a legacy project stub and visual reference. Dimensions given for the prototype human figure are standard adult proportions; final placement and optional base attachments are left to the user. Manual review of anchor dimensions is recommended if an exact prototype size is required.
