Paratrooper Under Canopy Ready to Land

A special forces paratrooper hanging in the harness beneath a fully inflated round canopy, legs drawn up and knees together in the moment before touchdown. The whole group is carried on a post and round base so the canopy sits clear overhead.

The canopy and jumpsuit share a multi-terrain camouflage pattern, and a full ring of suspension lines runs down to the risers at his shoulders. He wears a covered combat helmet with goggles, wraparound eye protection, knee pads and desert boots, with a carbine held across his chest and a holstered sidearm on the thigh.

Purpose-built for an airborne assault scene: a drop zone approach, a night insertion or a rescue landing on a wargaming board. Several of these staggered at different heights above a landing field turn a flat diorama into an operation in progress.
