This sculpt is a finely detailed standing female musician carrying a sousaphone. The pose is natural: the instrument wraps around the body with the large forward-facing bell carried slightly above and to the player's right, mouthpiece positioned at the lips, and the valve cluster accessible to the right hand. Clothing details include a knee-length dress with soft folds, short sleeves, and a gently swaying hem; the sculpted hair is mid-length and wavy. Hands, fingers and valve controls are modeled with close attention to mechanical connection points where the tubing joins the valve casings and where straps would sit on the shoulder. The sousaphone bell is smoothly tapered and hollowed, with the interior tuned for print clearance. The figure stands barefoot or in simple shoes (sculpt detail), weight mostly on the left leg with a slight forward step on the right.

Intended uses: This piece is designed for hobby dioramas, HO model railroading street and park scenes, marching-band displays and general display modeling where a single standing band member is needed. At 1:87 (HO) scale the figure represents an adult of roughly 1.65 m height and a wrapped instrument that fits comfortably within standard HO layout spacing. The sculpt emphasizes silhouette clarity at small scales — large shapes such as the bell and wrapped tubing read well at HO sizes while smaller features (finger gaps, thin strap loops) may require careful print settings or light reinforcement during post-processing.

Delivery notes: The product bundle includes a single 1:87 (HO) master STL intended as the basis for scale conversion. The master file preserves the figure and instrument as a single assembly optimized for placement on a layout; it is not supplied in multiple scale variants. Printing notes are provided for hobbyists: the bell interior and underside of tubing can require supports depending on your printer and orientation; consider printing the body upright with supports beneath the bell rim or printing the instrument and figure in two parts if you prefer reduced internal supports. Thin features such as strap loops or narrow valve links are sculpted for fidelity but may benefit from slight thickening in slicer settings if you routinely print at coarser layer heights.

Sculpt details: The dress shows subtle fabric folds and seam lines at shoulders, a realistic hair flow framing the face, and a clear mouthpiece placement. Valve buttons and finger positions are readable at HO scale but are not intended as moving parts. The sousaphone tubing path is complete and continuous around the torso, offering a convincing mechanical look for display scenes. There is no branded insignia or text on the sculpture; any visible badges or logos in the source were removed per preservation rules.

Notes for buyers: This listing supplies a single HO 1:87 master intended as the canonical size for conversion. Do not expect multiple pre-scaled files; use the master for your preferred scaling workflow. If you require a physical print or alternative scale variant, check conversion guidance or request a service quote. If you need exact real-world prototype matching (specific band uniform or era-accurate instrument variants), this piece is a generic contemporary-styled band member rather than a historical replication.
