A modern olive-drab military field shelter built as a low dome over a ribbed external frame, with an arched vestibule entrance at one end, clear vinyl window panels on the side walls and a full set of tensioned guy lines running out to ground stakes. The fabric is sculpted with realistic sag between the frame ribs.

Shelters like this form the backbone of a field camp, aid station or forward command post from the 1970s onward. It fits a modern military encampment, a disaster-relief scene, a research outpost, or a rear-area supply yard on a wargaming board.

Group two or three with crates, generators and standing troops to lay out a convincing base camp, or drop a single unit at the edge of a layout as a temporary works site.
