The model preserves a strong silhouette and broad planar transitions so it reads well at HO viewing distances. The underside is trimmed to a neutral flat base to simplify mounting in foam risers, into ballast, or for pinning to subroadbed. Delicate microdetail was intentionally reduced to improve printability and durability at HO scale. Printing guidance: base-down orientation for minimal supports and easy mounting; light tree-style supports typically suffice; resin at 0.05–0.10 mm or FDM at 0.12–0.20 mm layer heights recommended. Finishing: use a thin primer, a subtle dark wash to settle into planes, and light drybrushing to lift edges.
