This sculpted collection presents a focused group of Victorian-era upper-class adults designed to read strongly at small layout scales and populate period street or interior vignettes. The silhouette language signals late-19th-century genteel dress: gentlemen wear frock or tail-coated silhouettes with waistcoats and tall top hats; ladies display layered skirt volumes (crinoline and modest bustle influence), shawls and a folded parasol. Small accessories are modeled as visible surface elements — pocket watch chain, cane tip, parasol handle and clear cuff and glove folds — to enhance narrative without introducing fragile micro-details that will vanish at HO scale.
Sculpt details: poses are intentionally varied to suggest quiet social interaction and scene composition. Expect standing conversational stances, a strolling pose with one foot advanced, and at least one relaxed or leaning pose useful for platform, sidewalk or parlor placements. Limb separation and negative-space between figures have been prioritized so the group reads as individuals while remaining composable as a small crowd. Facial features are sculpted to support silhouette and expression at HO scale rather than photoreal detail.
What you receive: one master STL file scaled to HO (1:87). Miniature Reality ships a single 1:87 (HO) master STL as the baseline; use your slicer or CAD tool to scale this master to other target ratios (for example to 1:76 or 1:72). We do not supply separate scale-specific STL bundles. After scaling, re-check thin elements and wall thickness relative to your printing process.
Printability guidance: the sculpts emphasize readable costume forms over hair-fine surface detail, but thin vertical elements are present (parasols, cane shafts, narrow hat brims). These will benefit from considered orientation and support placement. For fine-detail capture, use smaller layer heights; coarser settings will retain the silhouette while losing the tiniest cues such as button rows or glove seams. Orient figures to minimize long unsupported cantilevers and consider printing delicate accessories separately if your workflow allows. Where a parasol or cane is particularly slender, you can thicken the element slightly in your mesh editor or add tiny gussets to improve print reliability.
Poses and composition: accessory placement is fixed to ensure poses read as social storytelling (gentleman tipping a hat, another hand resting near a pocket watch, a lady holding a folded parasol). This makes the set ready to place on platforms, pavements or interior floors without additional pose editing. The pack works well both as foreground interest and as subtle background population on a layout.

Scale conversion notes: the included file is the 1:87 (HO) master baseline. To prepare variants for other ratios, uniformly scale the mesh in your slicer or CAD tool from the 1:87 baseline — for example scale up ~1.14x to reach 1:76 or ~1.21x for 1:72. After scaling, verify minimum wall thicknesses for thin elements and adjust slicer settings or add minor reinforcements where needed. We do not provide separate multi-scale bundles.
Legacy provenance: this asset originates from a legacy MeshRef project labeled "1800s victorian wealthy people." The sculpture clearly targets upper-class Victorian costume cues but the source metadata is a pipeline stub and does not include deeper provenance. Use the included baseline as a starting point and adjust supports or minor mesh edits to suit your printer and desired finish.
