This asset is a purpose-built HO (1:87) master sculpt representing a generic midcentury two-door convertible, intended as a versatile layout and diorama accessory. The design emphasizes a strong, readable silhouette at small scale: a low sweeping hood flowing into pronounced rounded front and rear fenders, distinct wheel-arch volumes that maintain visual separation when printed small, and generous circular headlamp housings that read clearly at HO scale. The cabin is modeled as an open, low-slung cockpit with a shallow bench seat suggestion, simplified dash relief and a hint of steering column; interior detail is kept deliberately low so paint and washes provide perceived depth without relying on fragile geometry.

Key visible features: broad simplified body panels for easy finishing, pronounced curved fenders that create a classic late 1940s/1950s look, integrated spare-wheel bulge on the flank, sculpted folded soft top modeled as a reinforced mass with seam and crease cues rather than a thin sheet, and robust grille, bumper and trim forms to survive small-scale printing and handling. Wheel hubs are simplified and integrated so the car sits naturally when printed as a one-piece display, with wheel well clearances sized for typical small-scale clearance tolerances.

What you receive: one single HO 1:87 master STL file (the canonical HO master). Miniature Reality supplies a single HO master; we do not provide multiple fixed-scale masters. If you want to print at a different scale, uniformly scale this HO master in your slicer or CAD. As a guideline, scale by approximately 1.6x to move from HO (1:87) toward roughly 1:54; when scaling beyond ~2x or below ~0.8x, inspect thin features such as windshield frames, bumper tips and mirror stubs and consider local thickening.

Print guidance for 3D printers: orient the vehicle on its wheels for minimal supports so sills and lower body contact the build plate. Resin prints often benefit from an orientation with the underside down and supports under the chassis and lower grille area. Recommended resin layer height: 0.06–0.12 mm for smooth fender curves and crisp headlamp rounds. For FDM, use 0.12–0.20 mm layer height, add a brim around tires and light supports under sills and bumper edges. Because wheels are integrated, the piece prints as a single assembly; if removable wheels are preferred, separate wheel regions in CAD before slicing.

Finishing notes: broad curved panels accept sanding and primer well; the shallow cabin relief responds strongly to washes and drybrushing. The folded soft top is modeled with reinforced thickness so it survives handling and finishing. This sculpt works well as parked car groups on HO layouts, promenade and seaside scenes, roadside vignettes, or as a small display prop for table displays and hobby showcases.

Era and provenance: styling cues are intentionally generic and non-proprietary, evoking late 1940s through 1950s automotive forms without replicating a specific make or trademarked design. Source metadata originates from an automated legacy stub; maker attribution and prototype-accurate dimensions were not provided. Treat this asset as a stylistic unbranded accessory rather than a precise historical replica.

License and delivery: single HO 1:87 master STL included. Conversion guidance and printing notes are bundled with the download. Inspect scaled prints for thin features and add local strengthening where needed.
