- Support strategy: for FDM, provide supports beneath overhangs such as the cargo bed underside and barrel rims; resin printers will capture barrel relief well and generally benefit from a slight tilt to reduce visible support marks on the most visible surfaces.
- Layer height: choose finer layers for display pieces to preserve barrel stave relief; coarser layers are acceptable for layout-grade props where distance viewing softens detail.
