Visible features and modeling decisions
- Cab-over silhouette: the cab sits above the front axle with a short forward overhang and a nearly vertical windshield plane typical of midcentury COE light commercial trucks. Corners and roof radii are smoothed to avoid fragile thin edges at HO scale.
- Front fascia: a flat, vertical grille plane is modeled in low-relief with recessed headlamp and indicator cues. Tiny badges and text were intentionally omitted where unreadable to avoid fragile print artifacts and incorrect branding.
- Cargo body: a rectangular cargo box mounts behind the cab. Box corners are chamfered and panel seams are represented as shallow recesses rather than separate thin parts; the rear door is suggested with low-relief lines suitable for painting and weathering.
- Wheel arches and underframe: wheel openings are slightly pronounced so the silhouette reads at small viewing distances. The underframe is simplified to longitudinal rails and modest cross-members rather than delicate suspension or drivetrain detail to keep the printed part robust and easy to finish.
- Printability choices: micro-detail was reduced in favor of low-relief cues and thicker fillets where necessary. Thin edges were fattened and internal cavities avoided to produce a single watertight shell that prints reliably at HO scale.

Printing notes
- Orientation and supports: for easiest printing, orient the cargo box face down on the build plate so the box floor sits on the plate and requires fewer supports. If printing upright, add supports under the box corners and on the lower cab lip; pay attention to the lower cab edges and inside wheel arches. Keep support contacts small to preserve the shallow panel lines.
- Layer height and detail: for fine detail on resin, use 0.05–0.10 mm layer height to capture low-relief fascia and panel lines. FDM printing at 0.10–0.20 mm is acceptable; panel lines are deliberately shallow to accept primer and washes.
- Post-processing: remove supports carefully around the cab lower edge and wheel arches; sand lightly and use primer to check panel line visibility before weathering. The geometry is intentionally robust for sanding, primer, washes, and dry-brushing.
Intended layout and diorama placement
The compact footprint and short wheelbase suit 1950s–1960s industrial and urban scenes: loading docks, narrow alleyways, warehouse yards, municipal service fleets and small-town delivery routes. Its simplified surfaces are well-suited for applying company livery decals or quick weathering to suggest heavy use.
Provenance and accuracy note
The staging render included an automated tag referencing "mack." The mesh preserves a Mack-style cab-over silhouette but does not include factory-accurate badges or documented manufacturer-specific details. Tiny brand insignia were unreadable in the legacy source and intentionally omitted. Identity confidence is intentionally low for exact provenance; the piece is presented as a printable midcentury COE cargo truck prop rather than a verified manufacturer replica.
