What you receive

Detailing choices and expected appearance at hobby scales
- Body silhouette: panels are intentionally smooth with minimal applied trim so the silhouette reads clearly at HO sizes and accepts paint and weathering treatments.
- Wheel treatment: wheel areas are modeled as recessed hubs rather than fine-spoked wheels; hub caps and simplified tyre shoulders are present to suggest classic wheels while avoiding fragile spokes at small scales.
- Cockpit and glass: windshield is a single framed surround with low pillars to reduce delicate geometry. Interior seats and dash are simplified to provide visual cues without thin fragile elements.
- Trim and accessories: mirrors, badges and delicate trim are omitted or blended into the body to improve print robustness at HO scale. Door seams and grille lines are shallow to preserve profile while avoiding fragile ledges.
Printability guidance
- Master scale: 1:87 (HO). This is the only master included. To print at other scales, uniformly scale the mesh in your slicer (example scaling guidance is provided below in the printing notes).
- Orientation: printing the model with the wheel contact points on the build plate minimizes support use. If oriented differently, expect supports under the chassis and inside the wheel arches.
- Supports and bridging: minimal supports are required when printed resting on its wheels. Light supports may be needed under the windshield surround and the forward underside of the hood if the model is elevated.
- Layer height: for FDM at HO, 0.08–0.16 mm is practical; for resin prints, 0.03–0.05 mm produces crisp surfaces.
- Post-processing: smoothed body panels accept primer, masking and basic weathering easily. Because fine trim is omitted, adding aftermarket trim or separate wheels is a common kitbash step for higher-fidelity builds.

- HO model railway layouts: compact footprint, clear period silhouette and simplified wheels make this roadster ideal for station forecourts, roadside parking bays, petrol station dioramas and street scenes.
- Small diorama vignettes: pairs well with two seated figures, café terraces, garage displays or a garage hoist vignette where a recognizable classic convertible suggests a midcentury setting.
- Hobby practice and kitbashing: the smoothed surfaces are forgiving for beginners practicing masking, washes and drybrushing; the simplified wheel wells and hub geometry make it straightforward to graft on custom wheels or create a split-body variant.

- This asset is intentionally generic and unbranded. The upstream metadata originates from a legacy automated conversion and identity provenance is low; the design should not be treated as a faithful reproduction of any particular marque or year. If you require brand-accurate trim, removable roof sections or separate detailed wheels, consider commissioning a custom edit prior to purchase.

- To print at a different scale, uniformly scale the single HO master in your slicer. Example: to print at 1:48, scale by 87/48 ≈ 1.8125. To print at 1:160, scale by 87/160 ≈ 0.54375.
