Weathered 1950s Stake Bed Pickup

A tired old half-ton pickup with a five-window cab, rounded fenders and a heavy chrome bumper over a stacked bar grille. The faded purple-pink paint is chalked and chipped down to primer along the hood and fender crowns.

Both cab doors have been pulled off, leaving the bench seat, floor pan and column shifter open to view. The factory bed has been swapped for a plank flatbed with removable timber stake sides, and the wheels are bare rusted steel rims on cracked tyres.

Perfect as a long-serving farm hauler parked by a barn, a yard truck at a rural depot, or a half-forgotten wreck in a field of weeds. It suits any 1950s onward country scene where a vehicle should look used rather than restored.
