Canoe Paddler on Open Water

A cedar-strip style open canoe cutting through choppy water, with a single paddler kneeling amidships and driving a wooden blade down on the port side. The hull is sculpted with visible plank lines inside and out, a curved bow and stern, and thwarts across the beam.

The paddler wears a blue tee, olive shorts and a bright yellow buckled life vest, leaning into the stroke with real forward momentum. The oval base is finished with breaking whitecaps and spray around a rocky rim, so the boat sits in the water rather than on top of it.

Ideal for a lake, river or wilderness-camp diorama, a canoe-livery scene on a modern or mid-century layout, or a scenic river crossing beside a bridge or trestle. It also fills the water gaps on a park or state-forest board.
