A rectangular section of fast-running stream cut between two banks of stacked, fractured grey rock. The channel narrows toward the top of the piece where boulders crowd in, then opens out into a broader run of deep blue water.

The water surface is sculpted with standing waves, swirling eddies and white foam curling around the submerged stones, while the flanking banks are built from layered slabs and loose rubble with pale mineral veining.

It drops in as a river crossing, a mill race, a canyon floor, or a mountain gorge on a diorama or model railway, and it makes excellent difficult terrain or a fordable obstacle on a wargaming or fantasy tabletop board.
