Rocky Pond Terrain Feature

A self-contained pool of still water ringed by layered rock shelves and mossy green banks. The rim is built from broken slabs that step down toward the water, a wider ledge overhangs one side, and a pale flat stone breaks the surface near the centre as a stepping point.

The water surface carries fine concentric ripples spreading from the middle, and the sides of the piece are cut as a solid earth block so it can either stand proud on a board or be sunk into a hole cut in the surface.

Use it as a spring, a woodland tarn, a quarry pool or a watering hole. It suits temperate wilderness dioramas, a stream running through a railway embankment, and fantasy skirmish boards where a pool makes a natural objective marker.
