A World War II-era German select-fire assault rifle, one of the earliest true assault rifles. It features the distinctive long curved detachable box magazine, a stamped-metal receiver with cooling ribs, a pistol grip, and a straight-line stock.

The front sight hood, muzzle, handguard, and trigger group are all crisply modeled, and a small national marking is picked out on the buttstock. The green-and-blued finish gives it a used, field-issued look.
