A World War II era German automatic rifle deployed on a folding bipod, in the pattern of the FG 42 paratrooper weapon. The model shows the wooden shoulder stock, the pistol grip, a box magazine, the perforated barrel jacket, a muzzle brake, and the extended bipod legs supporting the front.
This is a strong support-weapon accessory for WWII airborne and infantry dioramas. Set it up in a firing position beside a prone or kneeling gunner, place it in a defensive emplacement, or use it as a weapons-cache detail in a battlefield scene.
The bipod-mounted stance gives it a purposeful static pose, ideal for anchoring a squad's fire position on a wargame base.
