A 19th-century pepperbox revolver with a rotating cluster of multiple barrels, an engraved frame and hammer, a trigger guard, and a smooth wooden grip. The stubby multi-barrel muzzle and compact percussion action mark it as an early self-defense sidearm.
The bored barrel cluster, scrollwork on the frame, and grained grip are crisply modeled for a weathered blued-and-walnut paint scheme. Its small size makes it a fine tabletop accessory.
A characterful period prop for an old-west, Victorian, or frontier diorama, and a scale weapon for civilian and outlaw figures on a wargame table or gunsmith vignette.
